We started South Westerly Studios 5 years ago with a vision and a tiny bit of cash. Since then, we have partnered with some many incredible companies and people, and without them we wouldn’t have got this far.
The UK Games Fund were the first organisation that ever supported South Westerly Games. We submitted our project to them and were awarded the UKGF Prototype Grant, which set us on our way to hiring our first 2 developers, Charlie and David.
The second organisation to support us was nonother than EPIC GAMES. We applied for an Epic Games Mega Grant as soon as Joe completed a vertical slice of the game. Shortly after being awards out UKGF Grant, EPIC did the same! It was after this moment that we hired our devs.
When we were introduced to Pebble we couldn't believe our luck. This established media agency immediately saw the potential of NINE ROUNDS RAPID and couldn't wait to be involved. Pebble are creating a epic launch date trailer for us, and have a trans-media plan in the works with Netflix.
